Top-ups are normally credited to the toll account within a few minutes. During peak commuting hours in Dubai the bank-side settlement can extend up to one business hour. The wait does not change the order amount or the receipt.
For vehicle categories that do not use a plate code (for example Public Transport, Heavy Vehicle, Government), the plate code field is now disabled and is no longer required. The hint under each field reads «Required only when applicable».
The optional balance check is a flat 1.50 AED, regardless of the balance returned. The fee is not deducted from the toll account; it is charged to the card used at payment.
