Terms of service.
By submitting a top-up or a balance check on this site you accept the terms below. They apply to every order, regardless of the amount.
1. The service
Platenumberup is an independent payment-collection service that forwards top-up amounts in AED to the UAE road toll account identified by the plate details you provide. We are not a government body, a bank or the toll operator.
2. Your responsibilities
You confirm that the plate details belong to you, or to an account you have permission to top up. You are responsible for the accuracy of every field on the form. Mistyped plate numbers or wrong emirate selections can result in funds being credited to the wrong toll account.
3. Pricing and fees
The top-up itself is processed without a service fee on top of the amount you choose. The optional balance check has a flat 1.50 AED fee. Your card issuer may apply its own foreign-currency conversion if your card is not denominated in AED.
4. Processing window
Top-ups normally appear on the toll account within a few minutes of a successful payment. During peak periods the bank-side settlement can take up to one business hour. Delays caused by the upstream payment network or the toll operator are not under our control.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled as described on the refunds page. They are always returned to the original card.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit fraudulent card data, not to attempt to top up plates that you do not have permission to top up, and not to use the site to test stolen card numbers. We may refuse any submission that triggers fraud-prevention checks.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the disputed top-up. We are not liable for fees charged by your card issuer, for losses caused by entering wrong plate details, or for downtime of the toll operator.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is resolved before the competent courts of Dubai.
