What we collect, why, and your rights.
This notice describes how Platenumberup processes the personal data you share with us when you submit a top-up, a balance check or a support request.
What we collect
- Order data: order reference, chosen amount in AED, time of submission.
- Plate details: emirate, vehicle category, plate code, plate number.
- Contact details: mobile number and email address you provided on the form.
- Technical data: IP address and a short user-agent string, kept in the server access log.
We do not collect the full card number, the card verification value or the card expiry. These are processed by the payment companion and never returned to our servers.
Why we collect it
To complete the top-up you submitted, to email you the confirmation, to answer support requests and to handle refunds. We keep server logs to detect and stop abuse.
How long we keep it
Order data and plate details are kept for the period required by accounting and tax rules in the UAE. Contact details are kept while a refund is still possible. Server logs are rotated after 30 days.
Sharing
We share order references and amounts with the upstream payment network and with the toll-operator side, to complete and trace the top-up. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third-party advertisers.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it once the legal retention period has expired. Send the request to support@platenumberup.org with the order reference.
